BRUNSWICK HILLS, OH (WOIO) - Chief Sharon MacKay announced that the look of the Brunswick Hills Police Department has changed.

The new uniform patch was unveiled to the community at the Brunswick Hills Township Trustee's meeting.

The new patch is the result of a collaborative effort between students of the Visual Media Imaging class and BHPD officers.

The students, members of their families, and representatives of the Medina County Career Center were in attendance for the presentation.

"The idea was to involve the schools and showcase the talents of local area youth" said Chief Sharon MacKay.

Sherry Hoover, the Visual Media Imaging instructor at MCCC, made the design of the new patch a senior class project.
