Wrapping Up: Jurors Deliberate Fate of Suspected Westside Arsonist

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Closing arguments were held Wednesday for the trial William Calderwood.

Jurors are now deliberating his fate.

Calderwood, 57, was indicted in February 2010, on 1 count of burglary and 72 counts of aggravated arson.

On January 25, 2010, Calderwood tampered with the gas line in the basement of a house located at 2022 W. 83rd Street, which he did not own.

As a result, the house exploded, causing damage to 72 houses in the area. Four people were injured.
