The Second Annual Brew at the Akron Zoo is June 2nd

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - The Akron Zoo will be hosting its second annual Brew at the Zoo, on June 2, 2010. Guests can enjoy beer tastings from several local breweries, appetizers and live music while the zoo showcases some of its rental spaces and programs. The event will run from 6 – 9 p.m.

Beer tasting stations will be setup throughout the entire park and beer tents, with a cash bar, will be located at the zoo's education center, Komodo Kingdom. Visitors can taste a variety of beers from Indigo Imp Brewery, Thirsty Dog Brewing Co., Ohio Brewing Co. and Rocky River Brewing Co. The cover band, Half Moon Jack, will be performing live at the patio of Komodo Kingdom. Guests should bring their business cards for an opportunity to enter a raffle for a four pack of tickets to the zoo. Brew at the Zoo is sponsored by Dominion and Renewal by Andersen.
