All Wet: Akron Thugs Lose Cool During Heated Water Gun Fight

NEW DETAILS: AKRON, OH (WOIO) - Five punks out of Akron slapped with charges after a water gun fight gone bad.

Around 6:30PM Tuesday night, officers responded to a large fight at Crouse Street and Cleveland Street.

The victim, a 17-year-old male, was punched and knocked to the ground. The group of teenagers then started kicking the victim as one suspect removed the victim's shoes.

The victim was transported to Akron City Hospital where he had multiple injuries to his head and body. The injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

Six teenagers were arrested and taken into custody. Arrested were 19-year-old Xzavier T. Penwell, charged with Aggravated Robbery and Felonious Assault; 19-year-old Frankie L. Roper, charged with Felonious Assault; 18-year-old Ronald D. Roper, charged with Felonious Assault; 17-year-old Carlton D. Stafford, charged with Felonious Assault; 16-year-old Dierre T. Payne, 16, charged with Felonious Assault; and 16-year-old Dominique D. Williams-Owens, charged with Felonious Assault.

They were all booked in the Summit County Jail or the Summit County Juvenile Detention Facility.
