CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) – A Taco Bell manager got an extra surprise at the end of his shift when he was held at gunpoint and stuffed into the trunk of his own car.
The victim tells 19 Action News that the gunman was more scared than him.
Last weekend, a Taco Bell manager locked up his Cleveland store and headed towards his car only to greeted by a crook with a gun who forced him back inside.
Next, the gunman forced the store manager into the trunk of his own car.
The robber drove the car just a few feet, then jumped out and took off. The manager says he used a screwdriver to climb out of the trunk. "I have all kinds of tools in my truck" said the manager.
19 Action News has learned that the bad guy told the manager that this was an inside job.
Is that why the guy with the gun was more scared than the store manager held at gunpoint?
