CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A sex offender was sent back to prison on Tuesday morning.
Lindell Brunning will spend the next 36-years behind bars for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old neighbor and failing to verify his residence as a sex offender.
19 Action News has learned the 47-year-old predator sexually assaulted the boy in Parma Heights in 2009.
Brunning was convicted of rape in 1983 and was sentenced to a term of 10-25 years in prison. Upon release from prison in 2008, he registered with the Sheriff's Office. In 2009, he falsely verified with the Sheriff's Office that he was living at a residence in Cleveland when he was living in Parma Heights.
In April of this year, Brunning pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual conduct with minor and two counts of sexual battery. He also pleaded guilty to verification of current address, notice of change of address and tampering with records.
He was classified as a Tier III Sexual Offender.
