Corrupt: Jury Convicts Former MetroHealth Big Wig in County Corruption Trial

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Breaking developments in the ongoing probe into corruption in Cuyahoga County.

A jury found Thomas Greco, Jr. guilty on all counts after only deliberating for one day. The counts include bribery, filing false income tax returns and mail fraud.

The former MetroHealth Medical Center executive charged with accepting bribes in return for steering lucrative contracts to East West Construction of Cleveland. Court documents obtained by 19 Action News show the total loss to Metro and taxpayers was $628,000.

Greco will be sentenced on August 12th. He could face up to 20 years behind bars.
