CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - There's a new plan to fight back against Cleveland's accused serial killer Anthony Sowell.
The family Crystal Dozier, of one of the 11 women found dead at his east side home, is behind it.
They filed a lawsuit which says if Sowell or his relatives try to make money from his story, that money has to go to the families of the victims.
Civil Rights attorney David Malek filed the papers targeting Sowell his family members and any accomplices that might come to light.
He says he wants to make sure any financial benefit to Anthony Sowell is distributed to the victims.
The suit also targets Sowell for causing a wrongful death.
