CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - This is just about a low as you can get - stealing from the dead not once, but twice.
William Van Dyke was originally busted for stealing copper vases from the Brooklyn Heights Cemetery on the city's Westside back in March.
Van Dyke busted the second time around after an off-duty cop got suspicious and started asking questions at a scrap yard. The copper vases can be sold as scrap metal.
William Van Dyke pleaded not guilty during his court appearance on Thursday morning. His bond set at $50K dollars.
Some of the stolen vases have since been returned to the cemetery.
