Student Accused of Stabbing another Student Pleads Not Guilty

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -  A student accused of stabbing another student in the neck on school grounds plead not guilty in court Monday.

Isaac Washington, 17-years-old, was indicted on charges of attempted murder and felonious assault.

On March 19th, 2010, Washington got into an argument at high school located in Mayfield with an 18-year-old male early in the day.

Mayfield Village Police say in he midst of the argument Washington stabbed the other student with an exacto knife.

The student was taken to Hillcrest Hospital with a stab wound to the neck. He is expected to be fine.

Washington meantime is free on bond until his trial.
