CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The man who held three people hostage at a Beachwood beauty salon over the weekend won't be getting out jail any time soon.

David Carrasquillo did not get a bond in court when he faced a judge Wednesday.

His case was sent to a grand jury.

Charges were filed Tuesday against Carrasquillo, a convicted sex offender.

Beachwood police say Carrasquillo went into the Alfredo's International Salon Saturday evening with a gun in a domestic dispute and even fired a shot at police and held cops at bay for 10 hours.

And just a week before the standoff he was charged with raping his mother-in-law in Moreland Hills on June 1st.

He was out on bail over the weekend when the standoff occurred.
