Fugitive Arrested: Homicide suspect picked up by CPD and U.S. Marshals Service

CLEVELAND - Michael McGrath, Chief of the Cleveland Division of Police, and Pete Elliott, U.S. Marshal for Northern Ohio, announced the arrest of a fugitive wanted on an Aggravated Murder warrant.

The arrested male is 20-year old Chas C. Gore of Cleveland.

The arrest warrant was issued as a result of an investigation by the Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit involving the homicide of William Buford, which occurred on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at 3071 E. 65th Street.

Today at approximately 12:30 a.m. Cleveland Police Detectives and Agents of the U.S. Marshals Service Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Chas C. Gore on an Aggravated Murder Warrant.

Gore was arrested at 3799 E. 144th Street in Cleveland, without incident.
