CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A Cleveland police officer is hurt in the line of duty.
Witnesses tell 19 Action News that police went to a home on Lorain to arrest James Bollinger, but after arming himself with guns and a bullet proof vest, Bollinger took off.
Cops caught up with him on W. 45th and bridge.
Bollinger's family called police telling them that he was mentally ill and making threats.
When cops closed in they had to use a taser to control him.
Bollinger had four guns in his possession and police found over 100 knives inside his apartment.
One officer was hurt in all of this.
He suffered a cut on the arm.
