CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Are scientists confirming something many women suspected all along?
Male menopause...in middle-aged men. Researchers are now saying it really does exist.
Scientists says the symptoms are mostly sexual.
Some women are still skeptical but doctors say this new study will make it easier to diagnose.
"It's a new world. It's the basis of a fundamental sea of change of how we think about it," said Dr. Paul Turek, urologist.
Doctors also say there are treatments available for male menopause and testosterone therapy helps as well.
And good news about this study is researchers believe menopause only affects 2% of men.
