CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland Police are investigating the aggravated robbery and felonious assault shooting of an 18-year-old man.
A group of men were sitting in a parked vehicle at E.110th and Crestwood Avenue just after 5:30 a.m. Saturday when a male approached the vehicle.
The male said to the group "give me what you got" and took property from the three men in the car. During the robbery, one of the men inside of the car tried to jump out and run off but was shot by the male with the gun.
The suspect ran off and the victim was taken to the Cleveland Clinic by private auto.
The suspect was described as a light complexioned black male with a handgun wearing a black shirt with braids.
The victim, 18-year-old Cedric Sanderser was later transported from the Cleveland Clinic to MetroHealth Medical Center where he is currently being treated for injuries.
This investigation is being handled by the Fourth District Detective Bureau.
