CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Recent crime in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood has many residents and patrons on edge about the safety of the popular community.
Ward 3 Councilman Joe Cimperman will host a community safety meeting on June 21 to address recent issues of violent crime and theft. The councilman will be joined by Commander Keith Sulzer from the Cleveland Police Department's (CPD) second district; Bob Shores, CPD 2nd district safety and outreach coordinator; Dean Malaker and Henry Senyak, safety committee co-chairs, Tremont West Development Corporation (TWDC) and Sammy Catania with TWDC.
The panel will host a discussion on how Tremont residents can work with CPD and the TWDC Safety Committee to combat the rise of violent crime and enact preventative measures.
