Armed Punk: Cleveland Police Seek Thug Involved in String of Westside Robberies

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland police are searching for the man involved in three robberies on the city's Westside.

The suspect is believed to have robbed The Shell Gas Mini Mart on Lorain, The Pit Stop on Clark and The Family Video on Triskett.

In all three heists, the thug brandished a small black revolved. Luckily, no one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion, thin small goatee about 5'7" tall and thin build.  In the Shell robbery, he was wearing dark thick glasses, but in the Family Video robbery, the suspect was wearing wire gold rimmed glasses. He might have a birth mark on his chin or chest.  The suspect was wearing a cowboy style hat in the Shell robbery and a Kango cap style hat in the Family Video robbery.

In two of the robberies, the suspect fled in a white Ford Excursion with a white female driver.

The Cleveland Division of Police is asking that anyone with information contact the First District Detective Bureau at (216)-623-5118.
