Drive-By: Male Shot when Mini-Van Drives Up, Opens Fire

GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - Police are investigating a shooting just before 11 p.m. at 12703 Knoll Drive.

According to Garfield Heights Police, one male was shot in the upper left back when a dark Pontiac mini-van pulled up along side of him.

After the shooting, the van was abandoned or wrecked along Broadway near the "Brooks Tavern".

Four suspects fled the scene. Garfield Heights Police were able to arrest two suspects. A canine unit was brought in to search for the remaining two suspects.

The victim was rushed to Marymount Hospital Helipad where he was life-flighted to MetroHealth Medical Center.
