Slain Soldier's Body Back Home, Candlelight Vigil Slated

SOUTH AMHERST, OH (WOIO) - The body of Staff Sgt. James Hunter arrived home Thursday morning at Hopkins.

The 25-year old Firelands High School graduate was killed on June 18th in Kandahar, Afghanistan when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.

A candlelight vigil is slated for tonight at Firelands High School at 8pm.
