EUCLID, OH (WOIO) - Water bubbled up like crude oil from the curb and ran down Shirley Avenue like a river when a watermain broke late Monday evening.
The water traveled up driveways and into homes.
Residents are upset because they say they've called several times before daybreak about the water. "We've been calling since before daybreak ...he called, he called, I called. And all we got is yellow flags."
The Cleveland water company says they didn't receive calls until late Monday night.
Neighbors say the problem started before that and got worse. "Her kitchen is flooded real bad, and it's starting to come into our area next door. So, I said you need to do something about this. This is crazy."
