6.5 Magnitude Earthquake Rocks Mexico

MEXICO (WOIO) - A 6.5 magnitude earthquake rocked Mexico early Wednesday morning.

The earthquake rattled the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca and was felt at least as far away as Mexico City.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake was centered in a sparsely populated, mountainous area near the southern Pacific coast

No word yet on any injuries.
