CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - "The check is in the mail." Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield employees will be saying that phrase pretty often to Ohio customers.
State health insurance regulators say the company overcharged customers and ordered them to refund $6 million to about 45,000 people.
Apparently Anthem charged rates that were higher than those on file with the state.
The state ordered Anthem to pay the refund and reimburse it for the investigation.
