CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - More trouble for a man just charged with stealing from the mentally handicapped.
19 Action News has learned there could be more charges coming.
Shane Snuffer claims he is innocent after being smacked with 29 charges for allegedly stealing more than twenty-thousand dollars from ten handicapped people.
Now, 19 Action News has discovered that there's another case pending.
The new victim's mother spoke out about the crime on behalf of her daughter saying "she doesn't speak and can't defend herself…as a mother you get angry. You get angry anytime anybody does anything to your children."
Investigators say bank records show Snuffer took money from the handicapped client and put it into his account. He was able to do it since he worked as a supervisor for AWS--a company that provides services to the handicapped.
Snuffer was fired before the charges were handed down because he lied on a form about his background. He previously did time in federal prison for stealing.
Now, maybe more charges will be added to the pile.
