Fugitive of the Week: Deonte Stephens

(WOIO) - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Deonte Stephens.

Stephens is wanted by the U.S. Marshals, and the Lakewood Police Department on charges of kidnapping. Stephens is a primary suspect in the incident which occurred on 10/03/2009.

Stephens and several other males entered into a residence located on the west side of Lakewood where two male victims were doing maintenance. The victims were bound and held against their will for several hours. One victim was taken from the residence however he was recovered unharmed.

One suspect has already been convicted and sentenced in the case, and another is currently awaiting trial.

 Stephens has been arrested for acts of violence in the past.

Stephens is a 23 year old black male standing approximately 5'09"tall, and weighing 165 pounds. He has black hair and has brown eyes.

Stephens has a tattoo of a teardrop under his left eye. Stephens has numerous family members and associates throughout the Cleveland area. Stephens has previously resided on the 3900 block of E.155th Street in Cleveland. Stephens also is known to be in the area of E. 102nd Street and Parkview Avenue.
