Back here in Northeast Ohio, we're preparing for another sweltering day, too. Officials plan to keep their eye on the mercury and the power supply.
Monday, about seventeen-thousand New Jersey residents lost power for more than four hours. Tuesday, the mercury is expected to climb into the triple digits in some places and it won't get much better when the sun goes down.
Here in Ohio, the hot, humid, holiday weekend was spent hitting the pools, and the lake!
Kathy Heinz of Maple Heights tells 19 Action News "If I had my choice, I'd be home in the a/c …but she (daughter) wanted to come to the beach, so we came to the beach."
