CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - First Energy is reporting some problems keeping some of its customers cool.
In fact more than 7,000 people are without power and the problems are mostly heat related.
According to First Energy there is a tremendous demand on equipment like substations and transformers. That couple with the nearly 2-million people are on the grid is what is leading to outages.
Officials also say there are some wires down and a transformer fell.
Officials warn that we could see more potential power outages later this week as temperatures continue to climb.
First Energy says the outage affected Broadview Heights, Parma and North Royalton.
Crews are trying to restore power as quickly as possible.
