CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Day #4 and still no sign of a 20-year-old woman who disappeared on Lake Erie on Thursday.
Sunday evening, family and friends of Emma Nahas held a prayer vigil for the missing swimmer at the E.9th Street Pier.
Nahas went missing Thursday night when she and a group of friends jumped off a 24-foot recreation boat into Lake Erie near Burke Lakefront Airport.
Everyone returned to the boat except Nahas.
According to family members, Emma was last seen wearing an orange bathing suit and she was not wearing a life jacket.
Emma's mother tells 19 Action News that they have no idea what really happened to her daughter that night and that there are conflicting stories from those aboard the boat that night.
"I don't understand how all these people could be on the boat and one person has the story completely different from another that are on the same boat but they all saw it," said Emma's mother Tracy Super.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
