EUCLID, OH (WOIO) - The search is on for the gunman that shot and killed 17-year-old Dayton Williams Sunday afternoon.
Euclid and Cleveland Police thought the suspect was holed up inside of a home located at E. 193rd and Muskoka Sunday evening. SWAT entered the home around 8 p.m. and came out a half hour later without their suspect. The house was empty.
Dayton Williams was shot around 2:30 p.m. at E. 200th Street and Nicholas Avenue.
Those that witnessed the shooting tell 19 Action News that a group of teens were arguing when shots were fired.
Williams was taken to Huron Road Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His birthday was this coming Thursday, July 15th.
