CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - A famous comic book writer has died.
Harvey Pekar was found dead by his wife at his Cleveland Heights home around 1AM Monday.
Pekar was perhaps best known for his autobiographical series, American Splendor. The series inspired a critically acclaimed film adaptation of the same name in 2003.
The coroner will do an autopsy to determine the 70-year-old's cause of death.
