CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A suburban woman accused of running over and killing an elderly woman gets off easy by the judge.
And what make this even more unbelievable is the fact that the crash was caught on tape.
Donna Ferrante was found not guilty of Vehicular Homicide at the trial.
She was accused of backing her van into 87-year old Constance King.
King was walking at the time of the accident. She died a few days later.
Ferrante was arrested and went to trial without a jury.
Judge Stuart Friedman heard the case and tells 19 Action News that he didn't think the tape showed the driver was negligent beyond a reasonable doubt.
