Four Arrested after Armed Robbery Outside Ronald McDonald House at Children's Hospital

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - Four men are under arrest for an aggravated robbery at the Ronald McDonald House at Akron Children's Hospital.

Akron Police report that around 11PM, four victims standing outside the Ronald McDonald House, located at 245 Locust Street, were robbed at gunpoint. The victims told police they were outside smoking, when four males approached them. One suspect asked the victims for a cigarette. When the victims said they didn't have anymore cigarettes, one suspect pulled out a gun and robbed the victims. The suspects fled with one of the victim's cell phone.

Responding officers located and arrested the suspects on South Main Street. Kevin D. Brown, Jr, 19, was charged with Aggravated Robbery. Ahamed R. Abdul-Karim, 18, Raysean J. Neal, 17, and Allen J. Thompson, 15 were charged with Complicity to Commit Aggravated Robbery. Brown and Abdul-Karim were booked into the Summit County Jail. Neal and Thompson were placed in the custody of the Summit County Juvenile Detention Facility.
