Cleveland's Longest Service Police Officer Dies

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland's longest serving police officer died Monday morning.

Emil Cielic retired in 2008 after he started on the force in 1957.

Cielic was assigned to Hopkins Airport. His first day at the airport was March 1, 1957.

Two of his sons also joined him on the job, one of them retired before he died.
