Low life accused of ripping off the mentally handicapped pleads not guilty

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A man accused of stealing more than $20K dollars from nearly a dozen mentally handicapped people was in court Friday morning.

Shane Snuffer worked as a supervisor for a company called AWS. The 33-year-old was in charge of overseeing area group homes and homes were the handicapped lived alone getting regular agency visits.

Investigators say Snuffer took money from the accounts of the handicapped put the money into his account.

Snuffer pleaded not guilty in court. The judge set his bond at $300K dollars.
