CLEVELAND (AP) - A weekly alternative paper that folded in October in Cleveland is back on the streets.
The "Free Times" returned four months after the Justice Department announced a settlement designed to preserve weekly newspaper competition.
Village Voice Media closed the Cleveland Free Times as part of a sale to New Times Media. New Times in turn discontinued New Times Los Angeles, which remains closed.
The Justice Department said the result was less competition for alternative newspapers L.A. Weekly and the Cleveland Scene.
