CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A number of communities voted on school and tax levies in Tuesday's special election.
In Cuyahoga County Pepper Pike voters said no to the first income tax hike in 40 years.
Also defeated was the North Olmsted school levy. That means kids will have to pay to play sports this year.
In Lorain County the Avon School levy failed as did two levies in Medina County, for the Buckeye Local Schools and Highland Local Schools.
