CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A family therapist lost her life last weekend.  Cleveland Police say Tonya Hunter-Lyons was killed by her husband, Maurice Lyons.

Bishop Prince J. Moultry delivered a sermon in memory of Hunter-Lyons.

The message, "He Loved me to Death" addressed domestic violence and from the bishop's point of view the signs to look out for in situations of domestic violence.

Bishop states, "once again from what Tonya Hunter-Lyons went through, there are many women in our churches who leave out the church doors once service is over and go home to the same situation, expecting God to do everything while they do nothing."

Funeral services will be held at the Word Church in Warrensville Heights at 11am Monday.
