ROCKY RIVER, OH (WOIO) - Police arrest a North Olmsted man for stealing $120,000 dollars from the family of a teen with cancer.

14-year-old Sabreen Haq lost her battle with brain cancer in June.  Her dying wish was to have a home for her family and to have a bedroom all to herself.

Friends and family raised the money for the Haq family and they gave it to 35-year-old Hamza  Abduhamdeh to buy a home.

Police say Abduhamdeh bought the house, but refused to let the family move into the home.  Instead, he's accused of leasing it to someone else.

The family filed a police report.

Abduhamdeh has been charged with three counts of grand theft.

He is out on bond and will be in court next week.
