CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - It's been months in the making. Friday, the options for the *new* Innerbelt bridge were revealed.
The three teams competing to build the bridge have delivered their detailed plans and proposals to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Engineers and technical experts from ODOT and the city of Cleveland have begun the process of evaluating each of the three technical proposals for constructing the new westbound bridge - estimated at $450 million - making it ODOT's largest single-project investment in state history.
ODOT is looking at everything - schedule, safety and the aesthetics and looks of the new bridge.
ODOT will reveal pictures of the final plans Friday morning.
