Homicide: Cleveland Police investigate deadly card game

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland Police and homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that left one male dead while playing cards Saturday morning.

According to Cleveland Police, a 31-year-old Kevin Costner was shot in the chest at W. 111th and Detroit just after 4:14 a.m. Costner was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

While on scene, officers were told that the victim and a friend were at a bar and met the two male suspects. After having drinks together the victim, his friend and the suspects went to the victim's apartment. At the victim's apartment the group began to play cards and while playing cards one of the suspects pulled a handgun and shot the victim in the chest. After shooting the victim both suspect fled the scene.
