CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A Cleveland man accused of murdering his wife will be in court Tuesday.
Ramon Carson has been charged with one count of Aggravated Murder.
According to police, around 1:26 a.m. Saturday, Police radio received a call from a Pennsylvania male stating that his brother had killed his wife and that his brother resided in the 10900 block of Grantwood Avenue.
Police arrived on scene at the location and were met by Carson. The 51-year-old informed the officers that his wife, 45-year-old Shana Gardner was upstairs in the bedroom. Once upstairs the officers located Gardner with multiple stab wounds. EMS was notified and responded to the scene and found the victim unresponsive.
The Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit and the Cuyahoga County Coroner's Office were notified and responded to the scene. Gardner was pronounced dead on the scene by the Cuyahoga County Coroner's Office.
While on scene, Carson refused to make a statement. He was arrested without incident.
