NEWBURY TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) - The former home of the late R&B singer Gerald Levert that went up into flames back in April has been ruled undertermined.
The Division of State Fire Marshal released the ruling Monday saying even though the home was destroyed by the fire after a thorough on-scene investigation, investigators were still unable to pinpoint the exact cause of the blaze.
The more than $600,000 Newbury Township home, which was vacant at the time, was fully involved in flames by the time firefighters arrived.
Gerald Levert lived in the home from 1994 until his passing on November 10th 2006.
No one was injured.
The case is now closed, unless new information is uncovered.
