Bright Idea: City council gives Mayor Jackson the green light for his LED light proposal

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson given the green light for his plan to purchase LED lights for the city.

Cleveland is now seeking bids after City Council approved the mayor's legislation aimed at purchasing millions of dollars worth of LED lights on Wednesday.

The company that wins must build a manufacturing facility, which will create hundreds of new jobs.
