Two killed in Jackson Township three-car crash

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) - The Jackson Township Police Department and the Stark County Coroner's Office are investigating a traffic crash that occurred in the 4600 block of State Route 241 in Jackson Township.

Township safety forces were dispatched at approximately 4:20PM on Thursday to a three vehicle injury accident.

66-year-old June Patton was operating a 2004 Honda Odyesse Northbound on State Route 241 (Wales Road) and went left of center, first striking a southbound 2006 Harley Davidson motor cycle operated by 45-year-old Scott Bushkill. The vehicle continued North and then struck a Southbound 1996 Chevrolet Blazer driven by 25-year-old Kevin Metzgar.

Mrs. Patton was pronounced at the scene and Scott Bushkill died early this morning at the hospital.

The third operator, Kevin Metzgar, was transported to Affinity medical Center and then air lifted to Akron City hospital where he is in reportedly in Critical Condition.
