UPDATE: CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - The man accused of stealing from the Tri-C bookstore admitted his guilty in court on Monday.

48-year-old Robert Shrefler pleaded guilty to ID theft and theft in office.

Shrefler was the assistant manager for Cuyahoga Community College's Metro Campus bookstore. He used multiple student names and ID numbers to defraud the Tri-C bookstore by forging the names of students on bookstore paperwork.

Shrefler then falsified and submitted cash refund documents to the college, pocketing the cash. He also stole store gift cards and cash from the bookstore safe and used his position to hide his various thefts.
