CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A proposal to build a mosque at Ground Zero is getting a lot of attention these days.

Tuesday, the Shurah Council of Greater Cleveland is planning a news conference talking about what has been called "Islamphobia" and a continued attack on Islam and Muslims.

This, after tensions continue to run high across the country about Park51, the Islamic Community Center that could be built just two blocks away from Ground Zero.

The imam behind the project says he hopes the controversy will help build a better understanding of the Muslim faith.
