Medics foil suspect's attempt to hide drug cache

ALLIANCE, Ohio (AP) - A man was charged with felony counts of possession of crack cocaine and tampering with evidence after medical personnel removed a bag of crack cocaine from his rectum.
Police in this northeast Ohio town arrested Jasmine Watkins, 20, of Canton, and another man early Saturday morning. They say Watkins was trying to hide the drugs during a raid.
Officers obtained a warrant from Alliance Municipal Judge Robert Lavery to search Watkins. Watkins was taken to the Alliance Community Hospital where the bag of cocaine worth more than $1,500 was removed.
