FAIRLAWN, Ohio (AP) - A 37-year-old Akron-area woman says she feared for her life on Wednesday when an ex-boyfriend abducted her from afinance company office where she works in Fairlawn, firing a couple of shots in the process.
The abduction was discovered when workers arrived at the office and found empty gun shells on the floor, the woman's purse and keys, and her car parked in the lot.
A couple of hours later, police in Wadsworth stopped a car being driven by the former boyfriend. The woman, who was a passenger in the car, was not injured and was released.
The man, 46-year-old Richard Hensley, is being held in Fairlawn City Jail on one count of kidnapping and may face additional charges.
