Man convicted of bank robbery arrested again

FAIRBORN, Ohio (AP) - A suburban Cleveland man who pretended to be a hostage in a bank robbery is a suspect in another bank robbery attempt.
David Khouri was to be sentenced on Thursday in Cleveland, but was
arrested Tuesday at a National City Bank in suburban Dayton.
Cincinnati FBI spokesman James Turgal says Khouri cut off his electronic monitor before traveling to Fairborn.
Khouri told the bank manger that somebody outside was forcing to him to make the bank come up with $200,000.
The bank manager locked Khouri in an office and a SWAT team took him into custody.
U.S. District Judge Patricia Gaughan on Thursday sentenced Khouri's accomplice in a March robbery of a Fifth Third Bank in the Cleveland suburb of Parma.
Jay Phares, of Fairborn, will serve four years and three months in prison.
