Man charged with selling drugs to teen killed by police

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio (AP) - A man has been charged with selling drugs to a teen who later rolled naked over a police car and was shot and killed when he smashed a patrol car window with a knife.
Matthew Palinkas, 22, of Chesterland, was charged Wednesday with selling drugs to Daniel Bucci, 19, of Mayfield Heights. If convicted, he could be sentenced to up to five years in prison.
Police suspect Palinkas sold some sort of hallucinogenic drug to Bucci on July 30. Bucci's parents said his judgment was impaired by hallucingenic mushrooms.
An officer fatally shot Bucci July 31 after he allegedly attacked her with a knife in this Cleveland suburb. Residents had called police about a nude man running down the street and smashing windows.
