BEACHWOOD, Ohio (AP) - Students at a suburban Cleveland middle school will find that computers are going to become just as standard as books and other supplies.
The 240 students and 40 teachers at Beachwood Middle School will get an Apple i-Book laptop computer for class-related use at home and school.
Each computer costs approximately $1,000. The students and teachers will get the computers next month.
The goal is for the students to keep the computers as they progress into high school. The computers will be turned in after four years and new ones leased.
